Objective for September 2009--To collaboratively build a repertoire of Web 2.0 tools:

  • What the tool does
  • Possible benefits to students and teachers
  • Skill at using the tool; find or create tutorials
  • Tips and tricks for using the tool

 

  1. Create a student Geek Squad in your school to assist students and teachers in handling Web 2.0 tools.
  2. The Google Apps Educational Edition Basics for finding Google helps, check out Google Tutor at: http://www.googletutor.com/ Miranda Doyle (Library Media Teacher at MLK, Jr. MS in SF) has been kind enough to create the presentation "Getting Started with Google Apps" and the document "Google Apps-Bulk Accounts"  These items will aid you in the creation of your Google Apps accounts and help you more efficiently upload student participants.
  3. Know each of the Google tools underneath the umbrella of Google Apps Ed edition:
